PUBLIC HEARING:
This public hearing has been convened in order to hear public comment on
- Discussion of adopting an ordinance of the Town of Church Point, Louisiana declaring
the Church Point detention and flood proofing project to be a public necessity
and authorizing the acquisition of the necessary land, easements, servitudes, rights
of way and other property rights requisite to the construction of said project either
on an amicable basis or throughout the use of the expropriation process if necessary.
- Discussion of an ordinance to accept the 10-year CenterPoint Energy Franchise agreement.
- Discussion of an ordinance to lower the Speed limit on South Vista St. from 25 to 15 mph.
